If you followed the announcements at the Game Developers conference a couple of weeks ago, you know what this means…it’s time to download the free beta of XNA Express. There is about 92 MB of gaming development goodness waiting for you to download and give it a try. Have fun,
Note: you also have to download and install Visual C# express as well …

After a 14–month hiatus, it’s back! You can now check your Xbox Live friends list from MSN Windows Live Messenger*. Don’t have Messenger yet? Download it here . If you already have messenger, click on the Xbox tab and you’ll see your friends list. Plus, you can even click a friend to go to their profile page. Nope…no word on when/if we’ll combine the Messenger and Xbox Live friends lists, but at least we’ve got this back.
*Note this is for US and Japan passport accounts only. Other regions may have this function, but it is purely up to the regional Windows Live Messenger teams if they want an Xbox tab…the Xbox team does not make this decision.

Yeah I’m a Crysis fan, this game looks great, but I’m going to need a better computer. Crysis-Online has a guesstimation of what the requirements might be based on the tech demos and current next-gen games already out now:
Here is their guess at the recommended requirements:
CPU: Dual-core CPU (Athlon X2/Pentium D)
Graphics: Nvidia 7800GTX/ATI X1800XT (SM 3.0) or DX10 equivalent
Internet: 512k+ (128k+ upstream)
Software: DX10 with Windows Vista
I’ve discovered a crap load of new videos too which you can find on Crysis-Online and InCrysis (nice name)
