Platinum Hits coming to Xbox 360
- Microsoft announced today via press release that their Platinum Hits line will grace the Xbox 360 starting October 15. The first wave of titles include Perfect Dark Zero, Project GothamRacing 3, Kameo: Elements of Power, and Need for Speed Most Wanted, and come at a cost of $29.99.
(Witch Kameo and PDZalready are at Wal Mart).
- In the past, select Platinum Hit games for the original Xbox had to sell over 400,000 unitsin nine months after initial release, so we assume the same logic is used for Xbox 360 titles.The second wave of Platinum Hits is expected in spring 2007 with titles varying by region.

Microsoft to offer free repairs for XBOX 360s manufactured before January 1st 2006 checks tobe mailed to customers who have already paid ….- Well here’s a bit of good news for XBOX 360 customers who’ve seen their console go up insmoke within the past year. For customers whose XBOX 360 console was manufactured before
01/01/2006, you are now eligible to receive free repairs should your console need attention.
Customers who have already paid for repairs will receive checks in the mail within 5-8 weeks to
cover their costs.
TGS 06: PS3 To Offer Downloadable Retro Games
- Yesterday at Sony’s TGS 06 conference, Ken Kutaragi announced that the Playstation 3 willallow you to download PC Engine (TurboGrafx-16 in the US) and Sega Genesis titles to your
PS3.
